I’m so excited to repaint Mermaid Cove from the Hidden Hideouts collection! It’s another highly requested one and I’m sorry it took so long for me to do. I took inspiration from the vintage Polly Pocket Mermaid Adventure Storybook. And yes, I covered the entire compact in glitter!
Another Twinkle Pact showcase, this time, the amazing shopping mall! Who remembers malls? I haven't been to one in years. This sparkly pink compact has tons of little details that make you feel like you're in an actual mall, minus all the crowds. I also love how it's HUGE!
These pretty pastel Polly Pocket style toys are called Twinkle Pact. They're from Japan and have unique aesthetics with their signature gemstone that sparkles through the compact. I gotta say I'm really happy I was able to get the full set, with some even new in box! I found out about these a year ago and it took so long to find them all. They're worth it because they're absolutely gorgeous!
As a huge fan of BTS and K-pop (I stan like 10 different groups right now), I was beyond stoked when I found out about the BT21 World Tour toys. These are suitcase-shaped compacts that's a collaboration between BTS and Line Friends. The best part is, BTS themselves created these characters!
These Polly Pocket secret egg carton compacts have cute little worlds inside. Crack the eggs and see more surprises! The tiny worlds are fun outdoor scenarios where Polly and her friends can play. I accidentally bought 12 of these, but only 3 are different. Let’s check them out!
This giant popcorn Polly Pocket playset is a movie theater equipped with 3D glasses and many fun accessories. It’s part of their Unbox-It series, and I call it a series because I hope there will be more. It’s such a fun playset, the popcorn looks delish, and the mini necklace/ring charms are super cute!
It's finally here, the official Polly Pocket Funko Pop! Funko released a handful of retro pops and I'm so glad Polly is one of them. Now my handmade version has a sister. I've been asked to showcase this and compare it to the one I made. Let's take a look!

These vintage Polly Pocket flower compacts from 1990 are truly iconic. They were some of the earlier Polly Pockets to grace this planet. We have Mr. Fry’s Restaurant, Garden Surprise, Midge’s Flower Shop, Water Fun Park, and Fifi’s Parisian Apartment. Oh, the memories!
For my fourth Polly Pocket repaint, it’s time to finally do the much requested Flutterfic Forest from the Hidden Hideouts collection. Overall, I wanted a very woodsy feel to my repaint. As far as I’m concerned, the butterflies can be fairies living in a magical forest.
Sanrio collaborated with Mattel to create what's basically Hello Kitty Polly Pockets. They're called Hello Kitty & Friends Minis, and these particular ones are the beach and carnival pencil case playsets. They come with cute little Sanrio characters: Keroppi, Batz-Maru, and Hello Kitty herself! These sets are also a throwback to Hello Kitty's stationery beginnings and come with pencils, erasers, stencils, and stickers.
Dreams do come true! The 1995 Cinderella Enchanted Castle is a Disney Polly Pocket filled with bright lights, gorgeous architecture, and tiny characters from the beloved classic movie. Bibbidi bobbidi boo, we're all invited to the grand ball! Maybe we'll meet Prince Charming, or maybe we'll ditch him because he's basic.
The Koala Adventures purse is the newest Polly Pocket set that was just released in 2020. It features tons of animals and a beautiful landscape set in Australia. I love getting to add another purse to my collection!
These new 2020 animal compacts from the Polly Pocket Big Pocket World series are absolutely adorable! The characters are much improved, with the signature hinge making a comeback. The animal figures also have hair that you can comb which is very reminiscent of the vintage Pollies. Let's take a look at Farm Piggy, Hedgehog Cafe, Jumpin' Style Pony, and Corgi Cuddles.
